About
Downloader is a small macOS app built with Fyne. Paste one or more links and choose Audio (mp3), Video, or Text. Text downloads the audio and turns the speech into a transcript with whisper.cpp, fully offline. You can also drop your own audio or video files on the window to get their text. Jobs run in a queue with live progress, and can be stopped or retried. Output is saved next to each file as .txt and .srt. Supports Auto, Persian and English, with optional English translation. Common download errors are shown in plain words. Light and dark theme.
Installation
You can install this directly from the source code using the Fyne command as follows:
go install fyne.io/tools/cmd/fyne@latest
fyne install github.com/mohsenm4/downloader/cmd/app@latest
